This summer I not only had the pleasure of being a bridesmaid in my baby brother's wedding, but I also was able to make their wedding cake. It was a lot of work, but so worth it. I was so happy to be able to be a part of their special day in such a fun way. We love y'all Mark & Molly, and we wish y'all many, many years of happiness!

Pink Sprinkles
Happy Birthday Miss Maisy Jo! You are the spunkiest little two year old I know. You are so cute, and if you grow up with half the sense of humor your mother has, you'll be one fun girl! In the pictures, the cake almost looks cream, but it was really a very pale pink.

New Look for Baked By Becca
I am in the process of giving a face lift to my blog. Bare with me as I am not very tech savvy. But, here is the new logo and inspiration for the new look. Wish me luck!

Mermaids
I had a blast with this cookie order! The CO of my husband's squadron asked me to do cookies for his daughter's eleventh birthday. She and some of her friends went the the Mermaid Factory in Norfolk. It's kind of like a paint your own pottery place except they only do little statues of the Norfolk mermaid. The cookies were individually wrapped to be the party favors for the girls.

Little Black Rain Cloud
I had the pleasure of making this adorable smash cake for a friend's one year old daughter. They had honey pot sugar cookies for the guests and the full hundred-acre wood for the smash cake!

Garden Tea Party
I did a super cute baby shower cake for a friend. She was hosting a small garden tea party to celebrate one of her friends who is about to have a sweet baby girl. She wanted something small and simple to match her grandmothers china tea cups she was going to be using at the shower. I haven't done something so frilly in a long time, it was fun making roses!

Surprise Baby Shower
I hosted a small surprise baby shower for one of my dearest friends. It was just a few of us getting together to celebrate baby boy #2 that is on his way. It was a wonderful evening of dessert and much needed mommy time. We are usually all toting little toddlers with us when we are able to get together. I had so much fun making some nautical themed cookies! We can't wait to meet the newest little baby boy soon!
